It should bring $7000-$8000 all day long for one in this condition with this clean of history and how complete it is but apparently, I must have been a little 'off' in that assessment, I had to pay up just to get my hands on it but, it's time to move on. So, here you go, have it YOUR way, there is NO RESERVE and there will be a new owner in just seven days regardless of loss! I'm not sure where you are finding them this nice but I haven't been able to find any like this one available anywhere so DO NOT miss it this time around! Keep in mind, I do not end auctions early and I will not accept any offers, it will run to the very end. Thanks for looking, now get your bids in!!*** Here is a really cool find. It's no secret that these smaller early SUV's are very desirable and there are a few around but hardly any that are still in their original condition. This one is completely original with no hacked in stereo systems, alarms, big wheels and tires or 'performance' parts,exhaust etc. Aside from the tires and a battery, it's completely stock, not even any aftermarket window tint! It has the original owners books and all factory floor mats, that's quite hard to find. Now, this thing is not perfect, it has a few small blemishes and shows some aging but it is straight and clean, please take the time to review the 85 full-sized, high-resolution photos including several of the engine compartment and the undercarriage that prove how solid and nice this Jimmy is. The body is clean and straight, there is a 'dime-sized' little spot of surface corrosion under the left rear side window, very common as that is where the water gathers after washing but very minute, not even visible from a few feet away. There is a ding under the rear left tail-lamp and under the driver's door in the rocker. A few small buffer burns in the original paint and a couple of superficial door dings but the rig is very striking in appearance with the shiny red and charcoal lower tone. Trim is decent, the door moldings and the plastic bumper caps are all intact and show just minimal aging. Glass is nice, all is original with the windshield showing minimal wear, sides are crystal clear and the rears are factory privacy tinted. Tires have about 60% tread life remaining and they are mounted to the original wheels with all original center caps. The interior is just amazing. Seats, dash, door panels, headliner and visors are about the nicest I've ever seen in a vehicle of this age. The dash is just mint with absolutely no cracks or splits and no fading or sun-damage. The only thing that shows any wear is the lid on the console which is all there, just isn't perfect. Look at the rear seat with the original storage pouches on either side! It has power windows, power door locks, cold A/C and cruise control which also works. It even has the original 'premium' (try not to laugh) audio system with 5 band Equalizer which also works. The rear glass actuator will release the window and the shocks that hold it up are good. For some reason, the rear lower hatch door will not open and I do not want to damage anything by trying to get into it even though I had it looked at and it is an easy fix by removing the inside panel and tightening the release lever. The interior smells nice, no tobacco, musty or pet odors. Mechanically it is all there. Engine starts and runs well but a new set of plugs and wires would likely 'wake it up'. It does not make any noise, no issues there and it has not exhibited any leaks, no overheating and no warning lights on in the dash. Transmission shifts smoothly at all the right intervals and it drives down the road nicely. Lights, gauges, signals, etc are all in good working order as well. There was another one listed here on eBay while ago that is the only thing I have even seen remotely close to this condition, it coincidentally had similar miles and they were asking $9500. Kind of lofty, I thought, so I priced this one last week at $7500 but I must have missed something because instead of real offers, I got low ballers. This is the only one out there I could find in this shape with these miles and history but I'm going to let YOU decide what you want to pay, there is NO RESERVE on this thing, it WILL have a new home in only 7 days.
