1958 Chevrolet C1 Corvette California Dreamin... Original California Car - Rust free undercarriage. Ready for a frame off restoration / solid VERY RARE hard to find Southern California Barn find. I picked this beautiful piece of Americana up in San Diego Ca from the family that had owned it for over 33 years. We lifted the body off the frame to get the OEM Chevy vin # and then had a California CHP Vin # inspection done. I currently have a clean - clear California Title in my name. As you can see from the pictures we started to take the car apart for a complete resto. The paint has been completely stripped so that we can see the complete history of the car in its raw naked state. Nothing hidden under paint or primer. I was very happy with how clean and original the body is. The undercarriage is beautiful, rust free and very very clean. *NO ENGINE *NO TRANSMISSION From what I can tell from the vin# reserch this car was equipped: Power Glide Automatic transmission 283Ci V-8 Radio Heater NOTE: I am in NO WAY a Corvette expert or Professional Resto guy! I simply had the very rare opportunity to purchase the coolest American cars ever produced and I jumped on that opportunity! OK some details... 1958 Chevrolet Corvette Comes with California Title California Black Plates Looks like the OEM color was: CASHMERE BLUE WITH ARTIC WHITE PANELS Super NICE clean body Solid doors with no sag in them Beautiful hood with solid hinges Beautiful rear trunk (part of the base on where one hinge mounts needs some new glass work) Hood trim Spears are both there (one has a broken tip) Inside of the trunk area has the original spare tire cover with warning lables Windshield (with a crack) Windshield frame/ parts as seen in pictures Side trim as seen in pictures Front & Rear bumpers and misc as seen in pictures Everything needs attention OEM Harrison Radiator as seen in pictures Misc engine parts as seen in pictures INTERIOR: Dash is VERY clean without dents or any past hack jobs Speedo cluster is good All gauges there NEW aftermarket dash cover included Steering wheel looks good Throttle pedal & brake looks good Some or most of the original wiring is under the dash Both Seats included but need resto Door panels are original Kicker panels Rear view mirror No carpet (again so we can see the condition) Convertible top frame included Rear deck lid cover for convertible top included with good solid hinges LOTS & LOTS of misc parts included.
