Up for sale is this stunning 1972 Grand Prix Model J. Purchased from the second owner who has his own body shop, hence the perfect body and paint. The car was rescued from the original owners estate after sitting dormant for approximately 20 years. The body was stripped and repainted the correct black color along with a new vinyl top in summer of 2016. New seat covers installed at the same time. The rest of the interior is original and in great shape. The car still has its original carpets and the original GM floor mats are still present, door panels are very nice as well. All lights work, power windows work well, Rally clock does not work. Car has A/C but needs charged. Wheels and tires are brand new last week (less than 100 hundred miles on them). Motor is the super strong 455 which appears to never have been out of the car. Not sure of actual mileage, odometer shows 13747. Runs and drives excellent. All original components in place. Transmission is the Turbo-Hydramatic 400 and shifts smooth. New alternator and new master cylinder. Trunk pan and floors do not appear to have been repaired or replaced. Trunk has a new correct trunk felt trunk mat and spare tire cover, as well as new and correct trunk side boards. An original style GM jack, jack handle and base are in trunk.
