Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is one heck of a truck. This 1999 Chevy Tahoe LT shows 277k miles on the clock...and feels as strong as one with less than half the miles. I would rate the exterior of this Tahoe to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. For nearly 300k miles, you can't really complain about much. The paint is faded at spots but shows well overall. There is a rust hole in the RR fender, but that's about the worst of it. The body is pretty straight, otherwise. The hood, doors and rear gates all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber. The front tires are pretty worn, but the rears are okay. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully and please realize (and be comfortable with the fact that) you are bidding on a truck with 277k miles. I would rate the interior of this Tahoe to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Again, please keep in mind that this is a 277k mile truck so keep your expectations low enough to trip over them and you'll be thrilled. The door panels show well. The headliner sags. Both front seats are pretty torn up, as you'd expect at this age and mileage. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it DOES NOT blow cold air. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Tahoe is in remarkably good condition. The 5.7L Vortec V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. The power steering leaks, but I haven't seen any other leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering has a little play in it, as you'd expect at this age and mileage. This is probably why the front tires are worn like they are. It's probably due for ball joints. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the road, she drives nicely for an old truck. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. This Tahoe even has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of June, 2018. This truck isn't for everyone. I know the miles will probably scare most people off. Please be serious as you consider bidding. This is a rock solid truck. Th engine is strong, smooth and quiet. I would drive this truck anywhere without a second thought...as long as I had a quart of power steering fluid with me, haha. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
