I’m selling my 1957 F-100 short bed. The truck is in really good shape for being a 61-year-old truck. I bought the truck from my dad who had had it for about 5 years prior to me owning it. I have owned the truck for over a year I believe the truck has been in California for most of its life from what I have been told. Since I have owned the truck I have turned it into my summer driver and have been driving it daily since about March of this year. I have updated a lot of things since I have owned the truck to make it reliable for a daily driver. The truck was a straight 6 with a 3 on the tree. It is now a roller 302 from an 87 Mustang backed by a C4 transmission built by Lees Summit Transmission at the beginning of 2018. The truck has custom built driveshaft from Lees Summit Transmission as well. The rear end is the factory 9 inch, I replaced the 3.90 gears with a 3.25 gear for better driving out of town the rear end has new outer bearings wheel seals and a new pinion seal. The front end has new kingpins and tires. The front brakes have been replaced with Disk Brakes from Speedway with a CPP Brake Master Cylinder and Brake Booster. The rear brakes have been redone with all new hardware shoes and wheel cylinders. The truck has new brake lines from front to back. The radiator in the truck is a full aluminum Champion radiator. I have new carpet for the truck I have not taken the time to install it. I have redone the passenger door with all new felt and rubber with new glass as well i have the stuff to redo the rubber and felt on the drivers door as well. The truck needs someone with more time to finish it. It needs the gauge lights fixed and the fuel gauge needs a new wire ran to it. The truck needs a new speedometer cable installed also. Mainly just small things like those I have listed and a few more minor things need to be completed. My son was born in April and I’m focusing my money and time on my family. It has been a great truck and i am still driving it daily until it sales. The truck is for sale locally and I do reserve the right to terminate the auction prior to the end date. Local pickup only.
