Very nice 1940 Buick Super Straight 8-Cylinder 4-Door Sedan. We acquired it about 10 years ago and to the best of my knowledge it was serviced and running as recently as three years ago, before being placed in its show room location you see in pictures. Serial number ('VIN') shows 1102662-006 and odometer shows 120 miles (titles shows purchased with 117). A restoration was done sometime in the early to mid 1980s, we don't know precisely when, and it won an award for classic cars in 1985. Today the vehicle has some spots that are not pristine - see broken buttons, a hole in the headliner, aged face plates, exterior spots of corrosion - and we have posted photographs indicating many of these points. The tires have not been changed in 10 years and are getting dry, but they still hold air and have good tread. Overall the car is in great shape for being nearly 80 years old.
