Clean title convertible 1998 323ic with OEM hardtop. Soft top was replaced 2 years ago as well. The story is, in 2014 the engine blew on my 323iC from previous owner neglect and instead of replacing it with another used 2.5l, I bought a complete wrecked 1999 M3 with 5sp. The motors are very similar and the installation was no harder than if I had installed another regular M50 series engine. The 5 speed transmission was a bolt right in operation as well. My 3 series had about 120k on it and the M3 engine is at 88,700 miles but I am driving it almost everyday so expect it to go up slightly. The instrument cluster is from the M3 so it will always reflect the M cars mileage. Everything was plug and play for the swap powertrain wise. I had to modify the heated seat plug for the power seats to work. The airbag light is on only because I do not have the dealer software to reset it. No cels, AC works, No VANOS, cooling, heating, braking, driving, problems. Reliable DD. You can drive it home as far as you want. UUC high performance clutch, Euro style headlights, Bilstein HD rear shocks, adjustable rear camber arms, urethane rtabs, factory subwoofer/amp, cd player, BMW M weighted shift knob, supersprint replica muffler.
