Please only bid if you intend to buy this truck. Ask as many questions as you want and I will try to answer as honestly and quick as possible. This is a 2003 S-10 4x4 crew cab that has been used by a Utility District since new. It has had regular service intervals and runs and drives. It has 185000 miles many of which were stop and go driving, few of which were freeway miles...so rough miles. It has had a bunch of problems over the years and most have been repaired. It has had the rear end rebuilt, it has had the motor replaced with one out of a junkyard with unknown mileage. It has had a bunch of electrical problems mostly effecting the tail lights, it has had the drivers door pins replaced a half dozen times. it has dings and scratches all over and the pictures actually look better than the truck. It has typical Chevy problems for a car with this amount of use. Handles are loose etc. This truck works and drives, currently it doesn't need anything but it is an old truck so bid accordingly. This is a no reserve auction. The vehicle is located in Truckee Ca. it will need to be paid for and picked up within 1 week of auctions close unless other provisions are made and approved prebid. The drivers side seat has been replaced and is not an exact match to the rest of the interior. This was a government vehicle, it has never been smogged, all of the systems are intact but it's ability to pass a smog check is unknown. If a smog is needed it is the new owners responsibility to do whatever is needed to get it to pass smog. No smog devices have been removed.
