Yes, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class remains the luxury car against which other luxury aspirants are judged. This was the flagship of the Mercedes line, and recognized as such in every corner of the globe. The S-Class is sleek and aerodynamic, right down to the polished Tri-Star hood ornament that symbolizes status from Beverly Hills to Boston to Berlin to Baghdad. Yet that gleaming star only hints at the engineering underneath. There's much technology here, and learning all of the features takes some time. This is the car that made the Maybach fail as an ultra-lux brand for Mercedes; after all, why spend $300,000 more to have a car with similar styling and only a few more options than this? This vehicle comes fully loaded. Includes the AMG package with badging and AMG sport wheels. In addition to twelve cylinders and 496 horses under the hood, the interior is finely appointed with special S-600 options, from the factory with black perforated Napa leather seating, and an alcantara suede headliner in excellent condition. Burled wood dash, door, and center console trim matches the wood grab handles and rear vanity mirrors. Leather dash, steering wheel, and other features are trimmed well above the standard S500 or S430 models. Heated and cooled seats can be positioned in countless ways (including power headrests), making a long haul drive extremely comfortable in this car. With the push of a button, the Keyless-GO push button start makes the engine roar alive. Parktronic feature assists the driver in knowing how each corner of the vehicle is to an obstacle when parking in tight quarters. Satellite radio is built-in, in addition to the traditional AM/FM bands. Huge trunk provides plenty of space for luggage, golf clubs, etc. Includes factory first aid kit, as well as all owners manuals in the MB leather folio. This car was recently traded in as part of a newer vehicle purchase, therefore I do not have the complete service history on the car. At just under 99k on the odometer, however, this vehicle was clearly driven sparingly by its former owner. Previously a Mercedes-Benz CPO vehicle. This Mercedes has recently had an "A" service performed, with approximately 6,000 miles left to the next service interval. We noticed the plastic oil filler cap was cracked upon purchase, and have replaced it with a new one supplied from Mercedes. Oil level (checked electronically, as the V-12 cars have no traditional dipstick) is correct and appears clear. All other fluids are at the appropriate levels and no leaks are apparent. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. Tires appear to have plenty of tread life remaining. An inspection of the undercarriage shows no rust, salt build up, or other problems, as this has been a Southern-owned and driven car. The powered trunk assist feature function to open and close the trunk remotely or with the push of a button, however the motor sounds louder than it should and should probably be inspected. Paintwork and interior are in a condition expected of a car of this age and lower mileage. I just drove this car approximately 600 miles to Florida and back for the weekend (6/8/18) with absolutely no problems and it was a pleasure to drive. Car does not appear to have ever been smoked in. Air conditioning blows crisp and cold. Please bid prepared to pay for and own this vehicle. A pre-purchase inspection of the car by a mechanic, as are in-person inspections and test drives, are welcomed at the buyer's cost and expense prior to making a bid.
