I originally bought this car due to its condition and beautiful color. The car has been taken care of and is a solid car. I believe the car originally came from Florida and then went to Pennsylvania at some point in its lifetime. The car last passed Pennsylvania inspection in 2015 before it came here to Indiana. It has also been entered in the Mopar Carlisle show. The prior owner built this car to be a nice driver with upgrades. The car's upgrades include the following list below: Body - The exterior of the car has been repainted once in its original color. It has never been in accident and is straight. Engine - 360 engine receiving a "340 spec" camshaft, 2 barrel to 4 barrel conversion using the parts from another Cordoba with a 4 barrel along with an Edelbrock Performer Intake, 800 cfm Thermoquad, electronic ignition conversion (deletes the Lean Burn), and dual exhaust. Transmission- A rebuilt 904 Torqueflite based (A999) with lockup converter. The transmission was rebuilt to stock specifications. Supension & Steering- That has been rebuilt as well from front to back as you will see in the pictures. This includes new bushings, shocks, leaf springs, etc. This Chrysler is a pleasure to drive and probably one of the best driving/riding cars I've owned. Overall, it's just a nice car and I get compliments every time I take it out. *********************************************************************** Since I've owned the car the things I've done to it include the following below: The Cordoba has 4 new tires, new ignition components, battery, negative battery cable, horn & window relays, LED dash bulbs, and mini starter. Servicing of the rear brake system. This included new axle seals, brake shoes, rear wheel cylinders. I had the A/C System inspected and they recharged the system with R134 however, the A/C only worked for a couple of days. I have not done anything further with the system as I have not driven the car very much. I have just serviced the car with an oil change using Brad Penn Racing Oil. The reason this oil was selected is because of the zinc additives for the valvetrain and camshaft. I also serviced the transmission with new fluid and a filter while also servicing the rear differential as well. I have the receipts for the work & parts mentioned above. *********************************************************************** The Bad: While this has been a great car there is a few issues that I want to make you aware about. Issue #1: As you can see in one of the photos above, there is some minor blistering just above the wheel moulding trim on the passenger side. It appears to be mainly on the surface. Issue #2: The A/C in the car doesn't blow cold the way it should. As shown in the photo above, I did have the system checked once and the shop added R134 to the system. It did blow cold for a couple of days so, I'm not sure what is going on there. I never had the chance to get it back to the shop Issue #3: The carburetor bogs at wide open throttle. Thermoquads are known for this. I'm looking to see what I can do to resolve this issue but, to be honest I don't drive this car hard. I was going to add fuel injection in the near future so I never bothered with the carburetor tuning or looking into the issue further. For the way I drive it or driving around town it doesn't seem to affect it. *********************************************************************** Spare/Extra Parts: Let's talk about the spare/extra parts I've briefly mentioned. So, the way this auction is setup is I have the car at a low reserve. The Reserve Price does not include the spare/extra parts. If you want the extra parts then I have a Buy It Now price that I would take for the car plus the extra parts. Regarding extra parts, I have way too much to list here but, some of the items include NOS Front Bumper, NOS Tail Lights, New Seat Material, New Weatherstripping, NOS Hubcaps, NOS Gauges, NOS Electrical Items, and then there is the used items which includes interior trim, door panels, etc. The reason why I have these parts is because over time the parts especially have become hard to find for these cars. Plus, it is a bonus to have a part already and not have to purchase it. I also have also have touchup paint to go with the car as well. *********************************************************************** Additional Information: The reason why I'm selling this car now is because I have a chance to buy back another Mopar I used to own and that has a lot of personal value to me now. If that vehicle wasn't on the market then I wouldn't be listing the car here. So, I need both the space and cash for this vehicle. If you win the auction, a $500 deposit is required within 48 hours. The remainder of payment must be paid within 7 days either via a certified check or cash only. Before releasing the vehicle, the payment must clear the bank before releasing the vehicle or title. Buyer is responsible for transportation or shipment of the vehicle and related items. Zero feedback bidders must contact me before placing a bid otherwise, I reserve the right to cancel your bid. Because the car is for sale locally I reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime. Thank you again. I have added additional photos of more parts to the Parts Album today. To clarify a few things regarding the car. The car runs and drives fine and would be okay on a long trip. It is an older car however every time I drive it I typically log 30-50 miles on it. I have driven it on several occasions on long trips. Regarding the stereo/wiring. The item that you are seeing on the ashtray and coming out of the radio bezel is a some of the prior adapter(s)/wiring for a Sirius XM unit. The prior owner ran one in this car when he took it on drives and trips. I have thought about running one a few times so that's the reason why it is still installed. The nice thing about this Cordoba compared to the '75-78 models is I like the upgraded electrical system with the blade style fuses. Thank you for your interest and please feel free to call me if you have any questions at 317-645-5921. One thing I forgot to mention in the ad is that to clarify the carburetor on this car is a fairly new Tomco carburetor. Since I've owned the car, most of the rubber fuel lines are new ones that are ethanol resistant and should last for a long time.
