This is a 1998 Ford F150 Regular cab pickup. It has 158,000 miles many of which were stop and go driving, lots of Idle time and lots of 4x4 time in the snow. These are not easy highway miles. This truck has had a lot of regular service maintenance and has had problems repaired as they arise. This truck really hasn't had a lot of major problems and is still on it's original running gear. Issues this truck has/had are: Brakes, this thing has eaten a half dozen sets of rotors.Truck blew the #8 spark plug out of it, we repaired it, this is a known Ford issue. It has leaks at both ends of the Catalytic converter, one at the flange, one on a seam, will probably need replacement.This truck throws a code about every 6 months, may effect ability to smog. The truck has small dents and scratches all over the whole thing, it has minimal rust the main portion I attached a photo of, the picture is of underneath the drivers door. It has rust in the same area on the passenger side but not as bad and a couple small surface rust patches by the bumpers on the drivers side. The camper shell is in really nice shape with the exception of the cylinders that hold the doors up, all need replacement and this model opens in the rear and both sides. The interior is bare bones. wind up windows and rubber floor. The seat has the get in and out of the truck wear on the drivers side and the seat has small stains on it everywhere....this was a work truck. This truck never had to pass smog, my guess is in its current condition it will not pass, I think it probably would with a new catalytic converter installed or the leaks in the existing exhaust system/catalytic repaired but I can not guarantee it. all repairs needed to pass smog are the new owners responsibility. The truck runs and drives currently, it is on a set of snow studs that are fairly worn out. It is illegal to drive on snow studs after May 1 in California. The new owner if they decide to drive the vehicle to it's new home can decide how to handle this situation, the studs can be removed with a set of side cut pliers or screw driver. We do it all the time, it is fairly time consuming and will be the new owners responsibility. This is a no reserve auction, this vehicle is sold in as is condition with no warranty expressed or implied. Payment and pick up of the vehicle will need to be received within 1 week of the auctions close unless arrangement are made prior to the auctions close. Cash or check, if paying by check the payment will need to clear prior to receipt of vehicle, this is normally about 3 business days. we are open for pickup of vehicle Mon-Fri 7:00 to 3:30 after hours can be arranged but need to be made prior to auctions close.
