This is a good looking bike. Please examine the pictures closely. Pictures show two flaws: a chip on the oil tank; and a discolored spot on the petrol tank. Otherwise, the bike is great shape. Pictures also show the Award of Merit the bike won at the 2017 Annual Riding Into History Concours d’Elegance. This bike runs great and is a fun bike. The 500s are lighter and more nimble than the 650s/750s, and not as common. The timing and carburetor are dialed in and the engine runs smoothly and powerfully throughout the entire range at light, medium or heavy throttle. It handles well and stops well within the limitation of the drum brakes. However, keep in mind that the bike is 50 years old. Pictures show the conclusion of my 2015 annual British Bike 200 mile NC, VA, TN ride. Since purchase, bike has been maintained and serviced regularly by Collins Cycle in Sutersville, PA.
