Up for auction is a solid 1951 Ford F-100 pickup. This was originally a father/son project but tragically the son passed away and I am helping his father sell the truck. Currently the truck has a 351 Cleveland in it with a C-4 automatic. I was told the motor ran great before it was parked over a year ago in its current position. The truck has not run since then and there are no exhaust manifolds on the motor. A 300 cubic inch straight six from 1975 is included in the sale. The straight six was rebuilt, 60 over, and is a powerful six with lots of torque. It has a two piece exhaust header and a 4bbl Offenhauser Intake manifold. The six was in the truck when he bought it and was later swapped for the 351 Cleveland which came out of a 1970/1971 Mustang. Unfortunately I don't have any specs on the engines but they both run well. Overall the truck is very solid with minimal rust and much of its originality retained. Lots of potential for a Hot Rod, Rat Rod, or an original restoration. The wheels and tires are great and the brakes, steering and suspension are functional. There is some rust on the front floor pans that was patched but overall is very solid. The frame, running boards and running board mounts are solid. There are several coats of paint on the truck and it is peeling/chipping on the hood and other areas. A minimal amount of time and a couple of bucks and this thing is on the road. I am not a super knowledgeable car guy but will do my best to answer any questions.
