Vehicle Detail
After buying a new car I am unfortunately selling my 1998 Cadillac Seville. It drives very well and the interior is very clean. The Heat works well but A/C could do with some more refrigerant. The sound system is great; all working power windows, trunk & gas cap switch, power seats, headlights, etc. In my ownership I have only had to install a new hazard switch for turn signals 2 years ago, as well as a new radiator. There is a lot of life left/good tread on the tires. The car drives and handles very smoothly. There is paint chipping away on front bumper but nothing too serious. The marks on the bumper visible in the picture are just from dirt, picture was taken during past winter, paint is actually overall in pretty good condition. No accidents! Asides from the two repairs that I mentioned, I have never had any serious problems with it in the 20,000+ miles that I have driven it. Needs a new windshield wiper motor, but is more of an inconvenience if anything (only works at 100% speed, but after a couple minutes of driving you get full functionality of wipers). Although it is visible in the picture, the service engine light is actually no longer on: no problems with idle RPMs, or with the transmission shifting during driving. All & all the 275hp Northstar V8 is very comfortable to drive and with 115K original miles on the odometer it's still running well as a daily driver/commuting car. I have ensured that the car does not sit: it is used frequently so that nothing deteriorates.
