NO RESERVE 2001 XK8 Coupe. black/black XK8 fully loaded with all functions as it left the factory. Includes factory NAV, upgraded factory Alpine audio system with CD player, cassette, am/fm. Fully automatic climate control with 8 way adjustable heated seats. (driver and passenger). Healthy 4.0 aluminum engine and 5 speed automatic overdrive transmission. Recent work includes: New Kumho tires, with recent alignment, new ball joints, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, upgraded metal upper tensioners and shock bushings. New windshield and full tint. Cam cover gaskets (both sides). New headliner and XKR grill.(receipts provided) This car is rust free from southern California. Maintained by old school Jaguar enthusiast most work done at dealership. The car needs nothing blows ice cold air. Interior is FLAWLESS, immaculate. The body is very straight, virtually ding /dent free. It has a few small nail head sized tiny spots that are tough to photograph. It has a the beginning of spider web cracking only on the nose bumper poly urethane, a few trivial surface scratches that are buffable. The worst of it is, if you want to say that on a 17 old original paint coupe is there is some fading of the paint/clear coat beginning on the flats, mostly the roof but some on the hood/trunk. We were thinking if they didn't buff out perhaps racing stripes. The Dream: WE HUNTED AND HUNTED, FINALLY FOUND THIS RARE BLACK ON BLACK V8 JAG COUPE. THE PLAN WAS TO DO AN LS3 CORVETTE POWERPLANT/DRIVE TRAIN CONVERSION. NO SOONER DID WE GET THIS COUPE TO OUR DOORSTEP THAN OUR STORAGE/ WORK SHOP DECIDED TO SELL THE BUILDING AND IS NOT RENEWING ANY LEASES. OUR LEASE IS DUE JULY 1.
