I'm a dealer but this has been a family car for a few years. I bought it as a salvage car with light front end damage, still drivable. I fixed it up for my wife and she proceeded to repeat the light front end collisions 2 more times. Each time the fenders and hood have not required replacement, it's mostly bumper cover, paint and headlight tabs. There is some slight damage to the core support as well.. This car is drivable, in fact I've put hundred of miles on it as it sits. So one could just drive it this way until they were ready to complete repairs. The convertible top works but it was leaking fluid and is now too low to power the top, but all the mechanisms work. I rebuild late model Land Rovers for a living, I'm very familiar with repairs. However, take these next statements as only my personal opinions, you should either inspect the car or understand that there may be hidden damage or more work needed than meets the eyes. At a minimum it needs new headlights (aftermarkets are cheap and look more modern), front bumper cover replacement (new bumper included in sale), some body work on the core support and very front of inner fenders to make the headlights sit straight, and the dash replaced as the driver knee airbag has not been replaced. I'm including a good used entire dash with the sale, includes that driver knee airbag. It also has lights on for ABS and SRS and a Brake indicator light on the dash. I plan to in the next few weeks do all these repairs and sell it for a lot more than I'm listing it here. But for someone that wants a cool project to work on, that's already drivable but really needs cosmetics and the dash done, here's your baby. Please don't lowball me or send me any opinions. I do this for a living, I know that I'm doing. This is one of the lowest mileage 06 SLK out there. It drives great and is like a rocket, half the car is engine! I'll be happy to help load on a transport truck on this end, it's located in Tampa FL, comes with a Rebuilt title that will be signed over to you upon payment.
