Up for auction is a 2007 Ford F350 Crew Cab XLT Single Rear Wheel 4X4. This truck has the 6.0L powerstroke diesel and 178,500 miles on it. Truck is being sold as-as, where-is. It’s located in Brooksville, FL and has a clean Tenn title. Please read entire listing. My Father in-law has owned this truck and daily driven it for the last ~8 years and since around ~50k miles when he purchased it used. Options: Truck is Crew XLT. It features button press 4x4 on the dash, locking hubs, power windows, power locks, power pedals, power seats, CD player, remote entry, remote start key fob, cruise control, integrated trailer brake controller, chrome step ups, chrome trailer tow mirrors with power glass, 7 plug trailer wirring, and cold A/C. Interior condition: Truck has tan cloth interior. True 6 seater with a 40/20/40 split bench upfront. Driver seat has one minor tear from getting in and out - See pics. Interior cleans up nice; much better than most work trucks I’ve seen. Exterior condition: It’s a sharp combo of dark tan/grey exterior with nice chrome work. I would say it’s a strong 8-10 footer. Truck shines up well; but does have 178K of use so please look at pictures – ie. does have few paint chips on front painted bumper fascia strip above chrome from usual road debris. Front bumper is tweaked up ever so slightly on passenger side. Truck has silver dollar sized spec of rust broken through paint on both box side outers above rear wheels. Driver side has an additional dime sized spot in a second location above wheels. Box floor has a few rust holes from where 5th wheel hitch rails were mounted – see pics. Remainder of truck is very nice just trying to be transparent as possible. Also, there is one minor accident noted on the carfax from few years back when a local cop ran into the back bumper of the truck at low speed when truck was stopped at an intersection (cop was distracted on his laptop). The officer's car had alot of plastic front bits so it was damaged when put up against an F-350 steel receiver hitch, hence he filed a report and it netted us a shiny new chrome rear bumper that is still in great shape. Mechanical condition: Truck has been well maintained and repaired as needed over last 10 years with regular service when needed. Most recently, my Father-in-law was pulling small ~5000 lbs 20’ haulmark trailer from TN->SC->FL to move great grandparents and experienced overheat through the mountains (didn’t boil over; just went into de-rate half dozen times and he limped it along). Given age/mileage of truck, and the 6.0L’s history, we assume the head gaskets or EGR cooler are beginning to go. No further diagnostic work has been done (this happened in middle of tightly timed trip), so please consider it a mechanics special. We left the truck at retirement home in FL and pulled the trailer back to TN using a F150. My father-in-law has enjoyed this F350, but given recent health concerns is downsizing as he no longer needs super duty capability and hence decided not to invest time/money to fix this old girl. Truck still cranks, starts, & drives… just haven’t taken it on any big trips and have not put under trailer load sense this incident. Truck would be prime candidate for bullet proofing and then could make someone a super strong, dependable, work truck or lift it and have a fun off-road Baja chase truck.
