You can hear it in the driving and air ride suspension demonstration videos. Bought it this way 2 years ago, was told it was normal, and have driven over 2,000 miles since then. However, a recent engine diagnosis has found the #10 cylinder wall is scoured and the piston is slapping. The SUV runs and has plenty of power but will not last forever. Got to love used car salesmen…The A/C system needs to be charged. It worked prior to the engine removal diagnosis but was not recharged after the engine was reinstalled.The rear wiper does not work. Do not know why – was never diagnosed. Also will include with the Touareg sale if desired: Factory service manuals on a flash drive, official Rosstech VAG-COM USB cable for plugging into the Touareg, specialty oil filter socked. Sold as-is with no warranty.
