Serial number: 155305140 Mileage: Approximately 4000 miles since fully restored. "Fully built 1600cc engine & mechanically excellent" This gorgeous VW Beetle Convertible was treated to a "No Expense Spared" Body Off and Pan Off restoration which took two full years to complete. Exterior Color: VW Yellow Interior: Black (restored to original condition with new black carpeting & seat covers) Top: Black top is hand sewn canvas with fully padded white headliner & restored original wooden bows Convertible top boot: New Engine: Fully built 1600cc Transmission: 4/speed manual rebuilt with new clutch Voltage: 12volt (when restored the 6 volt system was upgraded to a complete 12 volt system Chassis & restoration: During the restoration brand new pans were installed and the rust free undercarriage was sealed & undercoated. This VW retains the original glass and original Heidelberg Horn Ring. All of the VW emblems & scripts are original. Polished 15" wheels were added at the time of restoration Stereo system: Brand new vintage looking VW specific Custom Auto Sound Stereo with AUX input. For added security & storage battery cutoff switch installed I have driven this car on our Florida Turnpike at 75-80mph. Thanks to the built 1600cc VW engine, this gorgeous Convertible cruises at Super Highway speeds and will still deliver almost 40mpg.
