This is a NO RESERVE auction! 2001 Itajet Dragster 50cc. Rare 2001 Leon Haslam edition. Original paint and in nice condition. Does have various scuffs scratches (as could be expected for 17 year old scooter). These are increasingly rare and hard to come by- especially like this one which is currently registered with a clear California title (tags good until 10/18). I purchased it last year and have not ridden it more than once or twice during that time. There have been $$ thousands in upgrades and modifications. See detailed list below. The engine Italjet uses is a liquid cooled Minarelli engine. This is the only mass-produced scooter with a center-hub sterring/ RADD forkless front suspensio0n and a spaceframe. Alessandro and Leopoldo Tatarini obtained a patent for this combination in 1997. Truly a one-of-a-kind scooter! This is a highly modified scooter, and not a "grocery-getter". Due to engine modifications, this is kick-start only and requires 32:1 premix. Sold as-is with no existing warranty.
