You are bidding on a very solid 1963 Corvair van. I picked this up along with a 1961 pickup and I don't have room for both. The engine does turn over and crank with the starter, but it won't run most likely due to age related low compression. There is not much missing from the truck except for the air cleaners and related cross over tube. It is missing the left read brake drum. The gas tank was out and sitting on one of the seats when I got it so I am not sure what the issue might be with the tank. There are several small brackets screwed down to the top of the truck that should show up in the photos. I have tried to include photos of the typical rust areas where I can. There is an older body repair on the drivers side ahead of the rear well. Both valve covers are on the engine now and the plugs are in. Still no muffler. This truck will need to be picked up but I can help load. I did correct the mileage, it is 68,373. I am afraid that if I can't sell this intact, then I will keep the power train and scrap the truck. That would be a shame as this is a very solid truck for being 55 years old! Sold as is with no warranty. On Apr-26-18 at 17:30:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to add that there is a camper style tilt up roof vent in the roof close to the back of the van. It does show up in the third photo (view of right rear corner) as a short rectangle. The vent is roughly 12" square.
