My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Volvo S60R. I would rate the exterior of this S60R to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful sedan. It is finished in gorgeous black metallic over black and tan two tone leather interior, which is a striking color combination. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. As for this S60, the worst I can say is that there is a dent on the left C-Pillar. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well, including the factory R-specific aerodynamic pieces. There is a chip in the lower portion of the windshield with a crack running straight down from there. Check with your local laws to see if this will fly in your state or not. The optional 18" alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this rare S60R looks. Later S60R's are hard to find and this is a beautiful example. I would also rate the interior of this S60R to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The two tone black and tan leather interior looks great against the black exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are thick, clean and show well throughout the interior. The deeply bolstered leather seats are specific to the R model and are very comfortable and supportive. Both front seats are power operated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The factory stereo works properly and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature controls for both front passengers. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR and the heater works properly, too. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Pride in ownership shows throughout this rare Volvo. Please take your time and check each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this S60R appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The sport suspension feels tight and well sorted. You get a little rattle over rough surfaces, but it just sounds like a strut top bushing. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong...really strong. The turbo spools up quickly and brings on dump truck loads of smooth power. The check engine light is on. As with many Volvos of this age, my diagnostic computer will not communicate with the car so I cannot disclose the code like I normally do. I don't see any drivability issues, though...so it's most likely someting minor. The timing belt and water pump have been done right on schedule. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and workling properly. This car is an absolute blast to drive. It's fast in a straight line. It sticks to corners like nobody's business, thanks to the sport suspension and AWD. It's also comfortable to cruise in and gets respectable fuel economy, if you can keep your right foot under control. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
