Vehicle Detail
Re-listing this Jeep as previous winning bidder said his kids bid on the Jeep without him knowing. Whatever !!!!! I have a good driver quality 1983 Jeep CJ7 up for a no reserve auction. The Jeep has a rust free frame and well above average body with new paint, decals, pinstripes, stereo system with all the bells and whistles, new antenna. It has 2 brand new Goodyear tires on the front with the back 2 having good tread also. The Jeep has had a lot of money and time spent on it, but it is not perfect and its priced accordingly. I have a folder full of reciepts with the Jeep. It has a clear Virginia title ready to go. It has a new master cylinder with the brakes working as they should. It has disc brakes on the front. It doesn't pull or shake when you get on the brakes. It has manual steering that is pretty tight for a 30+ year old Jeep. The 4-wheel drive works as it should. Transfer case and manual locking hubs all work good. 5-speed manual transmission is smooth and clutch is strong. It is a little cold natured when you first start it. It does have a carburetor, so you have to let it warm up for a minute before you take off down the road. Good exhaust out the back with the catalytic converter still in place. It has tilt steering, bestop replacement front seats and factory rear seat. New side marker lights, new headlight switch, new stainless mirrors, new fender flares, new floor mats, battery, plugs, oil change and service all fluids. The headlights and tail lights work, but dash lights will need some work as previous owner had changed the speedometer to get it working. The oil pressure, volts and aftermarket gas gauge work as they should. The heater fan works also. Wipers don't work, but blades are new. The Jeep has a bikini top, hard top and doors with it. The doors will need some work. This Jeep is one you can ride and enjoy without spending a ton of money. I like to keep the old Jeeps on the road for folks to enjoy as I have for many years. Its just a hobby for my son and I to tinker with and spend some time together. It is not a fully restored Jeep, nor is it priced as one. Please feel free to ask any questions. I can furnish the winning bidder a shipping quote if needed. Take a look at the pics, my feedback score ratings and bid with confidence on the Jeep. I try and describe as best as I can. Thanks for looking and good luck if you choose to bid. On Apr-01-18 at 15:38:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Bidders with feedback score of less than 10 need to contact me before bids will be accepted or they will be cancelled. Nothing personal, but I have had trouble with bidders with no feedback not following thru with the sale of the vehicle. It costs time and money to list these vehicles and I don't have either to waste as I have had to do on this one.
