Vehicle runs. New battery recently installed. Spark plugs and ignition coils replaced last year. Yokohama Avid Engivor tires with 85% tread life. ATF fluid and filter changed at 120,000 miles. Differentials changed at 120,000 miles. Serviced regularly. Please look into the transfer case actuator. I just drove the vehicle 50 miles without problems but the 4x4 light keeps coming on and off. The transfer case actuator in 04 X3’s are known to fail once the vehicle gets near 200k miles. If it starts giving problems, unplugging the actuator should disable 4x4. Vehicle needs new brake pads immediately. I definitely wouldn't drive the vehicle for more than 500-1000 without getting the brakes done. Vehicle also needs interior detailing. It’s been sitting in a driveway for a few months. Just replaced the coolant expansion tank. Holds coolant well. Please look into heat. Doesn't heat well since coolant expansion tank was replaced. Back window needs a new wiper. Front wipers are great. Recently replaced the valve cover gasket. Vehicle holds oil well. No leaks. This vehicle needs some work put into it, but it can easily get another 100k miles. It is very smooth and quiet. Engine and transmission are awesome.
