Vehicle Detail
This vehicle was specifically listed at a starting price of ONLY $8500 to provide incentive for FAIR MINDED RESPONSIBLE MEN / WOMEN TO GET ON THE BOARD, IN THE GAME. THE CAR HAS FAR TOO MANY REALLY NICE PARTS, MODS, ETC TO LET IT GO FOR JUST $8500. Get on the board, and bid if you want this car, it will not be around likely after today! SOME NEW PICTURES ADDED, AND VIDEOS CAN BE SENT AS WELL OF THE CAR DRIVING. https://youtu.be/FDrTUaq-SLA https://youtu.be/abkT9qH3nu8 Car was appraised by insurance company, who obviously have interest in attempting to low ball (screw) owners, at $14,735. THE CAR WAS PREVIOUSLY INSURED FROM APPRAISAL AT $25,000..... $14,735 is low, but not too insulting. $13,500 is a great price for this custom ride. Have all the proof in records and receipts.1987 CHEVROLET CAMARO IROC Z28 RESTO MOD GMPP DELUXE 350 HO ENGINE (4 BOLT MAIN, 350 HP / 400 FT LBS) GMPP DELUXE CHROME KIT (VALVE COVERS, AIR CLEANER, ETC)NEW FULL GM SERPENTINE ACCESSORYKITK&N AIR FILTER600 CFM HOLLEY ELECTRIC CHOKEHIGHEST QUALITY MALLORY FUEL PRESSURE REGULAR ON 300PSI AIRCRAFT GRADE FUEL LINERACE BUILT 700R4 2800 Stall converter 3.73 Gears Auburn Rearend with Moser Axles Professionally installed WELDED ROLLCAGEG-FORCE RACING HARNESSESSSBC BRAKESLOWERING SPRINGSKYB SHOCKSAUTOMETER GAUGESGRANT STEERING WHEELNEW DOESKIN CARPET & NEW BOOM MAT AND INSULATIONNEW HEADLINER, INTERIOR REAR SAIL PANELS, etc.FIRE EXTINGUISHERB&M MEGA SHIFTERHEDMAN HEADERS EDELBROCK 3.5 INCH EXHAUST MID TO 2.5 INCH DUAL OVER AXLE EXHAUSTBRAND NEW BATTERYNEW RADIATOR, NEW DUAL FAN MOTORSGOODYEAR SILICONE BLUE HOSE HITCOOLANT AND WASHER FLUID BOTTLES PAINTED TO MATCH EXTERIOR COLOR, MIDNIGHT ATLANTIC BLUE METALLIC ***** DAUGHTER DOESN'T WANT THE CAR I BUILT FOR HER, after $43k invested since 2007. YES, I HAVE EVERY SINGLE RECEIPT, $43,000 INVESTED..WE TOOK THE CAR DOWN TO BARE METAL WHEN RESTORED.She had a retired older man, back up with his F150 pick up onto the hood when he changed his mind in a parking lot exit (was turning left, but changed his mind to back up and turn right), just cosmetic damage, as he was moving maybe 4-5 mph. Insurance paid $2500 for repair (hood, bumper, headlight header panel, paint, etc). I GAVE MY DAUGHTER THE MONEY, BUT SHE SPENT IT ON OTHER THINGS INSTEAD OF GETTING THE REPAIR DONE ..SO I AM NOT PUTTING ANYMORE MONEY INTO THE CAR. IF YOU WANT A SERIOUSLY NICE CUSTOM IROC Z28 F BODY CAMARO, ALL $43,000 IN DOCUMENTED RECEIPTS, HERE IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY. You will need obviously to spend the $2000 to replace the hood, and top part of the bumper cover, etc. That said, this is a MINOR ISSUE in comparison to the overall build of the automobile. You could not repeat the restoration / build this car for the asking price.... Maybe 45k, as I spent 43k with a shop and doing a ton of the work ourselves as professionals. If someone did none of their own work / wrenching, expect you would have at least the 45k, maybe more to duplicate the build. ***** SINCE MANY FOLKS ASK QUESTIONS THAT ARE ALREADY ANSWERED IN THE LISTING, I AM REPEATING SOME INFO HERE AGAIN:CAR HAS A ROLL CAGE, AUTOMETER GAUGES, GMPP 350 HO DELUXE CRATE ENGINE (350hp/400flbs torque), built 700R4 with 2800stall converter (the shifts are so firm they will knock your teeth loose), Moser Axles, 3.73 Auburn New Rear Diff w/ Moser Axles, SSBC brake package front and rear, lowering springs, new KYB shocks, complete polyurethane bushing kit, interior has $6000 in it...etc. COLOR IS MIDNIGHT ATLANTIC BLUE METALLIC, INTERIOR IS DOESKIN / PALIMINO. Painted in 2007, over $9000, was taken down to bare metal on exterior. Has some clear coat peel in some areas that's going to need to be addressed. Car sounds great. SO so much more, receipts are two telephone books thick.****COME SEE IT IN PERSON ***** *BY APPOINTMENT ONLY THOUGH.***** I WILL CONSIDER SELLING THE ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, AND REAR END SEPARATELY IF DESIRED, IF WE AGREE ON A PRICE ***** SAME WITH THE REST OF THE CAR, THERE ARE A TON OF VERY NICE QUALITY PARTS, MONEY ON THE CAR. I AM UPSET OVER THE SITUATION, SO PLEASE NO WISE COMMENTS.REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED, ACT STUPID AND WASTE MY TIME, WE WILL LIKELY HAVE A PROBLEM AND GET INTO IT. No disrespect intended or directed, as none will be allowed to go unanswered. We are honorable folks, and you will be treated well and shown respect. - Oorah! SEMPER FISERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE! This car has a documented $43,000 in receipts of restoration and very nice customization. ONCE AGAIN....AS PEOPLE ASK QUESTIONS ALREADY ANSWERED***** Reason for selling: DAUGHTER DOES NOT WANT THE CAR, TOOK INSURANCE MONEY SPENT IT ELSEWHERE, AND I AM DONE. I could certainly use the money to at least recover a fraction of the money I have put into the car that is clearly unappreciated. IF YOU WANT A NICE CAR AND ARE LOOKING FOR A MOTIVATED SELLER, HERE I AM. IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BUYER, I AM A SERIOUS SELLER. HONESTLY, I AM FINE WITH SOMEONE BUYING JUST THE ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, AND REAREND ALL TOGETHER IF WE AGREE ON A PRICE. THE ROLLCAGE IS PROFESSIONALLY WELDED / INSTALLED (THAT ALONE WAS $1600). Boom mat insulation, new carpet, new headliner, rear seats redone to match front racing seats, racing belts / harness, etc....so so much more. I have spent just since 2007 to completely restore the car. That is correct, you read it right, $20k spent from 87-2007, plus $43k to redo the entire from 2007. This of course does not include the general repair and maintenance from when I began this restoration as a special gift for my then 11 year old Daughter....Nor does this count of course the original sale price of the car, which was over 20 grand.. This car, as crazy as it sounds has over $100k paid / invested since 1987!!! Just mind blowing...I have the proof. Stupid, foolish, but a labor of love, for both a hobby at first and then from 2007...a gift for my Daughter. SHE DOES NOT APPRECIATE THE CAR OR WANT IT.THIS IS A VERY TOUGH CHOICE I HAVE TO MAKE, BUT I AM JUST READY TO MOVE ON. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING THIS ONE OF KIND RIDE.SEMPER FI Deadbeat bid on car, and then like a coward failed to pay or respond until we planned a visit. Then finally they claimed their account was "hacked" and someone else bid on the car without their authorization. Some people have no honor, no courage, no integrity etc..So we listed it here once more. SELLER RESERVES THE LEGAL RIGHT TO END THIS LISTING AT ANY TIME. CAR IS LISTED FOR SALE ON MANY OTHER VENUES.
