You are bidding on the 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V Convertible. This has become a very rare automobile. It is estimated that of the 2,226 produced, only 300-500 remain WORLD WIDE. It is an outstanding investment vehicle. Of the three years produced, (1958, 59, 60) the 1960 is the most desirable, as suspension, handling, comfort and driving issues were resolved. Of the three upgrade trim levels (standard, premier, and continental) the continental was the most expensive and desirable. Of the many colors available, all black with a red interior is the most desirable combination as well as the most difficult to find. Specifics of this vehicle - All Big Ticket items have been completed. This vehicle was purchased via an owner in Boca Raton, Florida. Rust is non-existent as both factory and subsequent undercoating's have been applied. The odometer reads 74,000 miles. The paint is as new and recent, estimated at a cost of $8000-$10,000. The interior and carpeting is as new and recent, estimated at a cost of $8000. The top is as new, fully operational and recent, estimated at a cost of $3000. The duel exhaust is as new, and complete, from engine to tailpipe, estimated at a cost of $2000-$3000. The tires (Coker) all as new, estimated at a cost of $1000. Additional Upgrades: Written documentation and cost of $8400 provided by current owner. Safety inspection included removing all wheels, and inspected tires, brakes, steering, and suspension components, belts for wear, ect. Replaced complete fuel line, carburetor, fuel tank, fuel pump, brake lines, battery and cables. Installed trunk latch, safety switch, oil pressure switch, recore radiator, transmission fluid, coolant, hoses, fuel sending unit. The vehicle does not require any further expense by the new owner.
