Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a very nice vintage 1974 Honda CB450K4 in very nice original condition, that I purchased from the original owner last fall, and is ready for a great summer of riding.Only 12,553 original miles! Here are the details: The original owner bought this new in 1974 from Honda of Alliance,Ohio(original title is signed off & ready for transfer),and rode it for a number of years before buying a mid 1980s Gold Wing.As a result, this bike sat in his garage from around the mid 1990s before I purchased it last year.Everything on the bike is original except the rear wheel(looks like a Harley 16" rim was laced to the original rear hub),handlebars & switchgear(brand new),and the Uni-Filter carb air filters(I have the original airbox & filters). All sheet metal is original to the bike. The carbs were rebuilt, with new floats installed, new points/condenser,spark plugs & a new battery were installed.Motor oil was changed. The gas tank was lined by Bill at Elizabeth Radiator(one of the best),and a new petcock & fuel lines installed.I also installed brand new handlebar switch controls for both sides, along with new handlebars & Oury grips. The mirrors are original Honda factory items. The front brake master cylinder & brake caliper were rebuilt, and brand new brake lines were installed top to bottom. Also,a brand new drive chain has been installed. The original owner installed a set of aftermarket mufflers after he bought the bike, but fortunately,he kept the original mufflers & stored them indoors,so they are in great shape with no rot common to these! After all was said & done to this bike, she fired right up,and runs great! You can use the electric start or kick start-Fires right up either way.Runs through the 5-speed tranny with no issues, and the clutch is strong. All running lights, brake lights, turn signals,& horn work as they should. Both stainless fenders are nice,as are the side panels.Chrome rims are in nice shape with no major rust or pitting. The gas tank has a couple dents, and an area where the paint lifted due to something dripping on it(see pics). The seat cover & seat are original, and in nice shape with no rips or tears.Overall, the bike presents very well, and looks good.A true survivor.I have both sets of original ignition & gas tank cap keys. Please ask questions,as all sales are final.Winning bidder to pay a $250.00 Paypal down payment within 48 hours, and full payment due within 7 days.Buyer must also arrange transport or pickup which needs to be completed within 2 weeks, unless prior arrangements are made.
