Honda Goldwing GL1000 like new. Ground up restoration. 1975 models are the most desirable Goldwings as this was their first year of production and they were tuned for max horsepower. This example is 100% stock with only 2,700 miles since it was completely restored in 2012. Engine was polished, carbs were rebuilt, fuel lines replaced, gas tank and side covers were repainted using the correct Candy Blue Green paint and stickers. Gauges were replaced by new ones (the bike had 29,000 miles at the time of restoration). All new parts are Honda original. Tires are 10 months old with just 400 miles. In November 2017 Carbs were synchronized, valve clearances were adjusted and Timing Belts were replaced. In addition, engine oil was changed as well as shaft lube and coolant fluid. brake lines were flushed and new fluid was added. This GL1000 not only will be a great addition to any collection, but it is also ready to go cross country for thousands of miles; it rides like a new bike. I have a modest motorcycle collection and keep them mint, as this as my hobby. I am just downsizing as I am becoming older and do not have the time I need to ride them all.
