I bought this last year from a retired soldier. He bought it in hawaii and had it shipped to tennessee. It has been in his barn since the mid 90s. It was painted in the early 80s. I sprayed some clear on the roof. He put something on it and the paint peeled of while washing. Its an original tangerine car which is kind of rare. It has a 4spd. Transmission which i like better than the 5spd. The car runs and drives. It leaks oil. After all its an old porsche. It has an old set of webers.I believe its matching numbers. The engine number is 755275. I havent ordered a coa. The floors appear good as well as the longitudnals. The outer rocker is rusted. The suspension pan is good other than the channel that runs across. The suspension mounts and tow hook area look good. The old repaint is amateur but looks neat from the patina. The front seats have been recovered but the rest is original. The lights, signals, horn, speedometer, tach, fuel gauge work. The heat is disconnected since its not needed in hawaii. Its has cracks, bumps, dings , scrapes, and some rust. I have installed the following new parts:Vredstein tires, brake lines, carb kit, fuel pump rebuild, had an original distributor rebuilt, speedometer rebuilt, new air filters.
