So here is what we have: 1974 Porsche 911 Patina Hotrod Outlaw Neat little ex-Laguna Seca / Sears Point weekend club racer transformed back to street.Lease purchased originally @ University Porsche in Seattle Wa. Purchased off lease return in 1979 and brought to Ca.California located with same owner since 1979 (car evolved from daily driver to dedicated weekend PCA racer. Original motor was swapped for a high power 3.0L during it's race years and now back to a '74 2.7L *not original* motor). Repainted from original Yellow to Guards Red).Clean, clear original CA 'pink' slip.Ca Blue & Yellow original license plate. Original owners manual, toolkit (partial), spare, tire pump, jack, bra, repair manuals, etc. Folder full of prior records. Extremely well sorted. Factory RS 73/early74 OEM steel rear flares. New 7&9X17 custom Fuchs (patina finished) with new 205/50 & 255/40 Ultra High Performance Sumitomo tires. SwayAway adjustable ride height rear spring plates. Adjustable front sway bar.Factory rear sway bar. 3 point strut tower brace. Larger torsion bars front & rear. Koni adjustables. Rebuilt 915 with Quafe (true miles unknown). Strong running '74 2.7L (#6144232) with oil fed tensioners & pop off valve (true miles unknown). Updated front oil cooler. Lightweight RS interior with period sport seats, Prototipo, excellent original dash w/speaker grill, all glass & folding top... H4 headlights.Original sugar scoop headlights with h4 sealed beam bulbs also included.Most original interior pieces included. Solid, dry California example (multiple pictures below of bottom and interior while stripped for carpet installation). Runs, drives, shifts & stops nicely. Lots of fun, sounds fantastic. Exterior shines nicely, photographs well and the RS flares are done correctly, but there are numerous nicks, scratches, chips and track wear/touch ups. Odometer reading listed as showing 09,219 however true mileage is unknown.PPI welcomed and encouraged. DRD Motor Trade Car has current CA registration and no other fees due upon completion of auction other than sales tax if taking delivery in California. On Feb-21-18 at 11:24:14 PST, seller added the following information: To be clear, pictures of the interior stripped depict a very solid, rust free cockpit, floors, rear seat buckets, rear tray, etc. Amazing condition really. What may look like surface rust is actually original insulation glue. I have never stripped a pre-galvanized 911's interior that looks this preserved. Also, videos are available.
