I drove this car for three years in Interior Alaska, and it performed magnificently. Then I had it shipped down to Missouri when I moved, and the check engine light and IMA light came on two weeks after arrival. :-( Honda dealership spent three weeks on diagnostic work in coordination with Honda Tech Support to determine that three sensors located underneath the transmission need to be replaced- at a cost of $3200. The sensors include: phase current sensor, predriver unit, and drive plate and commutation sensor. As I see it, if you buy this car, your options are:- replace sensors on your own without labor cost- convert car to gas-only using the sensor board on the IMA battery pack.
