This celebrity owned Chevelle SS 396 started with an original rust free TRUE "138" VIN SS 396 car (NOT A CLONE) that had a pro-build from the ground up by Black Jack Speed Shop (owned by Tim Duncan) in San Antonio, Texas. Builder of many celebrity cars. No expense was spared in the making of this ground pounding road hugging celebrity owned Chevelle SS. Power is supplied by a GM ZZ 572 / 621 HP Fuel Injected Crate Motor. This massive engine supplies excellent power and a huge torque curve. The Holley EFI fuel injection makes her run as smooth as any modern vehicle. The Vintage Air blows cold and the professionally done high-end custom leather interior makes driving this classic muscle car a pleasure. Backed by the famous Tremec 5 speed transmission which makes it enjoyable to drive around town or highway...you can really explore the huge power and torque range of this engine..(NOT a boring automatic). So much fun to go through the gears....the shifter is firm and smooth. This car is fast...and it sounds mean....definitely a blast to drive. At the tail end of the drivetrain is the bullet proof GM 12 bolt posi-traction rear end differential with 4.11 gears. Suspension was fully upgraded with tublar a arms and control arms and polyuerthane bushings throughout. Performance Wilwood disc brakes with slotted rotors on all 4 corners. Every body panel fits like a glove. The custom rececessed shaved door handles are a work of art. The side markers have also been removed for a super clean body.
