1987 Toyota pickup with 160,000 miles. Its a very clean truck for 30 years old. I put a new head gasket,timing chain,water pump and all other gaskets that go along with it at 152,000 miles. I had a local machine shop put all new valve seals and a new camshaft on the head, along with resurfacing and checking for cracks. also did a emissions delete and put a weber carb on it. all of this work was done at the same time the head gasket was. I also had the radiator boiled out and checked for leaks. i drive this truck daily and have for the past two years, it is very reliable. the only thing i can think of that is wrong with it is the gas gauge. It works until you run about five gallons of gas out of a full tank then it drops to empty. I normally fill up about once every three weeks, i average 28-30 mpg. I bought this truck from the original owners son in-law, it was bought new here in the town i live in and taken very well care of. I had four new tires put on about 4000 miles ago.
