Up for auction is a real survivor, a 1974 rickman zundapp 125. Bike does NOT have a title. This appears to be the enduro version, with head and tail lights, along with a speedometer. I also noticed a horn and turn signal flasher under the tank. The head and tail light aren’t hooked up. Bike is really nice and appears totally original and intact. Bike shows low miles. Engine has spark and strong compression. Was told it was last ridden 5 years ago. The gas in the tank smelled bad. I drained it and refilled with pre mix. It started and idled for 30 seconds or so then shut off. The bing carb was dripping from the tickler. Carb and tank will need to be cleaned for the bike to properly run. I can say the engine sounded great though. The kick start return spring isn’t strong enough to return the kicker. Seat cover is torn. Gas tank has a dent and looks like mild surface rust inside it. Wheels are nearly new condition, and tires are cracking, and likely original. The fiberglass bodywork is in really great shape with no damage. Some surface rust on some hardware and on bars. The chrome rickman frame is really a work of art. I don’t see any damaged or repaired areas. Overall a great solid bike the will make for a simple project. Buyer to make all shipping arrangements and pay for shipping. Payment by cash upon pickup or money order/ cashiers check if shipping. Once cleared it can be shipped.
