Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1963 Ford Falcon I drove this car as my daily driver for several years. The engine is the original 170 c.i.d. in-line 6 and runs great. It is currently on PNO with no back fees. This car has had a lot of work put into it, including: Painted inside and outnew interior carpet installedSeat covers and other interior parts (door handles, pull knobs, visor, etc.) replacedHD Radio Stereo/DVD player and Speakers installedSubwoofer installed in trunkAlternator installed in place of original GeneratorNew BatteryNew ignition installedNewer brakesUpgraded tires/rims/hubcapsOutside parts replaced including trunk lock, mirrors, bumper, etc.upgraded suspensionNewer shocksRepaired heaterMany of the new parts were purchased from Falconparts in Sacramento There are a few issues with the car:Transmission has trouble shifting into second gear. It runs well in "Low", but obviously only at slower speeds (less than 40). I am assuming it is a good candidate for a C-4 conversion.Outside paint shows some wearSeats are starting to fadeThere is a large crack in the front windshield (though it has been fine for years with the crack in it). I have another uncracked windshield that I was planning on installing. It is included in the auction. The radio cuts out sometimes. There may be short somewhere. I have disconnected the subwoofer and turned off the radio. I have also been disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery to keep it from draining. When braking it veers slightly to the right. It could probably use an alignment. It needs new windshield wipers The car is 55 years old. It runs well for it's age, and is a fun car to drive. I live in Fair Oaks, outside of Sacramento. The car could be driven on back streets to anywhere in the Sacramento region - but would likely not do well on the freeway. Outside of the area alternate transport would likely be needed. I have quite a bit of extra parts for the car - some that I pulled off of other Falcons at pick-n-pull such as knobs, handles, front dashboard pad, etc. that I will include with the auction. I also have repair manual and some other paperwork that I will include. Please ask questions. i will check daily and answer any questions. Thank you.
