Vehicle Detail

The good, car runs!! Engine is strong, Transmission was rebuilt 4 years ago and has no issues I have a lifetime warranty for wheel alignment with firestone, My plates were stolen once and they had no problem doing another alignment using the cars vin as proof. I will give you the paperwork to be able to still use this warranty if needed in the future This Civic just passed an emissions test last summer. The ECM was replaced over a year ago after the alternator bolt came loose which fried the computer (a known problem with this car) New bolt was replaced and this is guaranteed never to happen again, if it does, there is a fail safe ground rerouted so 12 volts does not go thru the computer. the bad Body is very scratched all over, Hood is very difficult to completely shut, trunk is also very difficult to completely shut if you open with the pull lever by the driver. If it is working ok, it is safe to unlock with the key and will shut and lock without any problems (using the inside lever to open the trunk screws it back up) Passanger window opens fine but needs to be pulled to the side when closing, it will not close all the way by itself without a little help. I have the spare motor for the passanger window but never got around to installing it. The motor is included in this auction. Power steering sometimes whines and occasionally after starting will be hard to steer for a few moments. Online forums say this is a semi common problem and a power steering fluid change can help. Problem that just started recently, when the vent selector is set to blow straight at you, there is a rapid clicking coming from inside the dash The car has been sitting for about 2 months without being driven, when we went out to start it, the battery was dead, not sure for how long. We jumped it, started right up easily. let it idle for 15 minutes and shut it off, wouldnt turn back on. rapid clicking as if not enough juice in the battery. The car may need a battery replacement. I will try to jump it and let it run for a bit longer but this is an issue you should be aware of. I can get a used battery easy to replace it but want to see how this auction goes 1st. Also, the battery harness connected to the + side of the battery is broken and held together securly with a clamp (been this way for over a year and ive never had a problem) Door for the gas tank is broken I have the 2 missing hubcaps not shown but they are pretty beat up The interior carpet is dirty and stained in spots. There is a terrible heat shield rattle that is more pronounced when the ac is running. A lot of these problems are easily fixable but I just do not have the time or money to put into this car. If you work on cars for a living, this would be a great car to fix up. I am starting this auction out at junk price plus ebays $60 fee. On Jan-28-18 at 19:10:17 PST, seller added the following information: Also, forgot to mention, The timing belt was changed at 150,000 miles. The belt is supposed to last 100,000 miles before being changed so its good for another 67,000 miles
