I have owned this car for 2 years. drives nice auto trans shifts smoothly. Tops works I Installed many after market Upgrades by Taliaferro SAAB Rear sway barfront 6 point bracesteering rack bracestrut tower braceurethane steering bushingsurethane transmission mounturethane front sway bar mountsaluminum air intake BSR cat-back exhaust. (European stainless steel, what ever that is) Drilled brake rotorsrear wind screen Replaced items include (listing the major ones) front calipersfront strut assemblieswindshieldre- upholstered front & rear seats (vinyl)re- built tonneau motor assemblyRHS, LHS CV joints, inner tripod bearings RHS axle bearing (next to alt)A/C Evaporator coreignition switch fuel pump & sending unit assembly Replaced transmission fluid, and brake fluid. used Bizol P 5w-40 motor oil (3 oil changes) used premium (92 octane) gasoline tires have plenty of tread left The paint is original, the clear coat has scratches(have to get close to notice), the trunk lid has 5 areas someone placed objects that damaged the paint, I sprayed clear coat on these areas(which has yellowed) in an attempted to protect it. The 20+ year old paint looks good (except for the trunk lid) I don't think there have been any accidents or repaint 2.3 liter non-turbo 4 cylinder engine Convertible top is in great shape, no tears.
