It has spent whole life in California, original V8, C code, runs and drives excellent, everything works correctly all new suspension, all new steering components, new brake system, new radiator, new gas tank,original Signal Flare Red color redone a couple of years still nice, original correct #9 Dark Red interior redone a year or so still like new, new chrome, solid from top to bottom, currently registered. This handsome 1966 Pony sports its original numbers matching 289 V8 with 5k miles on Rebuilt engine and transmission. Automatic transmission shifts great and nice power steering. GT badging with GT trumpet exhaust tail pipes. The engine is mechanically sound, the body is in good shape. The engine runs strong, A new thermostat and housing, new belts for alternator, steering and motor fan, the carburetor was rebuilt, new spark plugs and wires, new distributor cap, and owner's manual. Front and Rear Drum brakes stop the car great. All electrical is in working order, ( Lights, Brakes,Turn Signals, Wipers). Dual Flowmaster exhaust give the car an aggressive low rumble. Painted Signal Flare Red about 2 yrs. ago and overall very shiny and looks great. All metal panels and gapping are great and doors close solid! Windows roll up and down as they should. New 17" Torque Thrust wheels with 235 45ZR/17 radials Inside is in great shape! Newer bucket upholstery front and rear seats. New dash pad, sill plates, headliner, door panels and kick plates. All factory gauges working. Everything is great condition and looks awesome!!! From a driving standpoint, the Mustang starts right up and falls into a smooth idle, This Pony is easy to drive and is very reliable.
