Vehicle Detail

I have a 1972 Corvette Stingray Numbers Matching in Sunflower Yellow for sale. This is a powerful 350 5.7L engine with a 3 speed automatic transmission. The wipers work!!! the light flip up and turn on!!! The vehicle runs well and never stalls or overheats. The paint is about 1 year old and painted by Sherman Oaks Collision Center has a couple small scratches but shines like its wet (see images). Almost everything on this car is OEM from GM. The only known aftermarket part is the exhaust system (Hooker Competition series chrome headers and Flowmaster Mufflers and it sounds great). Tires have less then 200 miles on them. Every emblem has beem replaced and all the chrome has been re-chromed in the past year and both front grills are new from GM. Both mirrors have been replaced as well as the outside door handles. I have a new set of beauty rings for the rims sitting in my garage that will come with the car. The brake system has been completely replaced about 3 years ago. I've had this car for about 3 years and only put about 1500 miles on it. For the past 2 months it has been parked outside with a 9 ply custom cover on it. I recently had the carburetor rebuilt. This car has never been involved in an accident. the battery has been replaced about 2 years ago but I don't drive it much anymore and it is currently dead but it does hold a charge. I did purchase as many parts as I could from GM and the rest are from Ecklers. I no longer have time to finish the vehicle. Things I wanted to replace are as follows. Gas tank, rubber wiper blades, RPM meter doesn't work (its probably just 1 wire that has to be replaced) The front lights need to be aligned. If you feel like repainting the small scratches you can but they are hard to find. Its not in show room condition but its not too far away. I did try to add more speakers to the car since it comes with only 1 from the dealer but the original radio doesn't support more than 1 and I like to keep my cars mostly original. I didn't put the entire dash back together but its only 6 screws. The t-top paint also has a little bit of peeling to both sides where the chrome meets the paint where I goofed and put it on before the paint had cured. I have loved driving this car on weekends and I get lots of complements on the car anywhere it goes. I've even had the paparazzi take pictures of me and my wife thinking we are celebrities (we aren't) since we are in LA. I've never driven this car in the rain and it doesn't snow in LA. I am selling the car as-is if you are purchasing the car you are responsible for shipping costs. I ask for $500 immediate deposit through Paypal and the rest by cashiers check. If you want to come check out the vehicle please feel free to contact me and we can schedule test drive. If you have any questions about the car and are a serious buyer please feel free to ask questions. There is no reserve but you can buy it for $24,000 and I will end the auction.
