Vehicle Detail
1970 Dodge Super Bee Coronet tribute, auto nice driver NO RESERVEThis time capsule could have been plucked from a high school parking lot in 1983... This 1970 Dodge Coronet is in amazingly clean condition. The clean front motor tub, rot-free floors and torque boxes show this car was truly cared for over it's 48 year life. This car is solid in all the right places. She has been cloned into a Superbee with stripes, badging and scoops and retains the tell-tale Sub lime green. All the trim and chrome is in excellent condition. The factory tinted glass is chip and scratch free. The interior is in fine shape with original bucket seats. The door panels and dash are in amazing survivor condition. This car does have a couple dents, some dings and the paint was really not great when it was repainted some time ago. These cars were only produced for 1 year and are extremely hard to find this CLEAN. This car is in amazing condition considering... I believe this car has had only one repaint over the original metallic green paint which is still in the door jams and under the hood. Does have some chips and some touch ups. More like a barn find. But that makes it cool. It was originally an AC car but the compressor is missing. Does have the condenser and firewall and dash parts. The power plant is a juiced up 318 with performer intake, cam and 4 barrel carburetor. Newer Automatic 3 speed transmission and torque converter. 8.75 Chrysler rear axle. New dual exhaust with headers with era appropriate tips out back. Very drivable, as it's made a 6 hour round trip drive this summer. The wipers work, lights, blinkers... Decent white vinyl top. Nice white letter tires on appropriate mopar rally wheels. The trunk pan has some rust and the rear quarters had some work but that is it.... A full drivers side quarter is included with the car if you want to replace it in the future. Expect a solid car but not perfect. My starting bid is less than half of other 70 coronets. Bid to win. SEE WALK AROUND VIDEO of the car running. Feel free to ask any and all questions. Low reserve! Video available on YOUTUBE: to See video search youtube "1970 Coronet 00000070" For EXTRA$$, I do have a correct center console with automatic shifter available. The armrest is removable between the bucket seats. PLease feel free to ask any and all questions. If you would like to see the vehicle I would be happy to set up an appointment to show you. I define a "driver" as a car that has been selectively restored but is overall original with updates.
