For sale is an entirely original 1947 DeSoto S11 4 door sedan. The car is solid for its age and has many interesting features like the suicide doors or the drivers side spotlight. The car ran two years ago but is not currently running. I believe the valves are stuck and once freed it should be good. Has the original straight 6 cylinder engine and a new 6 volt battery. The doors, fenders, hood and trunk lid as well as 90% of the body are rust free. The rockers will need some work, the drivers side floor and a small area under the rear tail lights will need some repairing. The paint is decent for the year but does have some imperfections. This car is well worth the effort to restore and enjoy. Asking $4,500 or best offer. Comes with a wealth of shop manuals and some extra parts as well.
