You are bidding on a two-owner 1999 Mercedes E300 Turbodiesel. I am the second owner and purchased the vehicle in Florida in 2004. This is a non-smoker vehicle and the seats and carpet are in good condition. Power seats, locks, sunroof work fine. The radio has a built-in cassette player and there is a six-CD changer in the trunk. Recent maintenance includes two new tires (Sumitomo Touring LSH) and new diesel injector tips at 212,500 miles and a new battery at 212,700 miles. The other two tires have decent tread and the wheels are in good condition. The check engine light is on. Engine starts fine but misfires. Mechanic says it needs a new diesel injection pump. Transmission, drivetrain, brakes, etc. are fine. Body condition is fair; there are several paint chips, scratches, scuffs, etc. on the hood, doors, fenders, and roof (see photos). The fenders are rusting where they join the rocker panels. There is a small broken piece of plastic trim next to the right headlight. The right side mirror works, but the breakaway feature needs repaired.
