Vehicle Detail
See aboveOn Dec-24-17 at 09:43:56 PST, seller added the following information: I have an original bench seat for it but the car has a 766 trim code for bucket seats. Rear end is a 10 bolt.On Dec-24-17 at 09:45:32 PST, seller added the following information: Car is NOT in Nevada. Car is in Austin, TX 78664On Dec-25-17 at 15:26:00 PST, seller added the following information: I have received some questions about the the trim tag and want to respond. Here is a hyperlink with all of the Baltimore tags decoded. http://chevellestuff.net/1968/chevelle/tags/68-bal-2.htm The tag that is identical to this one is almost 3/4 of the way down the page in the above link. The car decodes as a Tripoli turquoise Black Vinyl top with black interior and bucket seats. This would imply that it had the center console and floor shift for the Turbo 400 automatic tranny. My car has a bench seat in it now and if you look closely at the interior pic, you can see that the tranny tunnel has had a newer plate welded in over it to cover the hole. This would imply that someone either put a bench and column shift in it or that someone started to repair the tranny tunnel and welded the patch in and then abandoned the project before the cut the hole for the trans shifter. its also possible someone just threw the bench in it to get rid of it when the transferred to car. The VIN and title and tags all match so I know that it checks out.On Dec-26-17 at 10:31:12 PST, seller added the following information: I have added a photo of the VIN on the dash at the bottom of the windshield. It matches up with the title however the 766 trim on the tag shows buckets and the floor has after market welds and a different primer color so it has been replaced in the last 50 years. It got drilled for a bench seat and that is what it has in it for a frame. I bought this with a collection last year so I am just now getting to these facts on the car myself.
