I WOULDN'T EVEN HESITATE TO SAY THAT THE 5 CYLINDER IS HANDS DOWN A BETTER ENGINE THAN ITS SUCCESSOR V6 3.0. NEEDLESS TO SAY, IF YOU’RE LOOKING AT THIS LISTING, YOU PROBABLY KNOW ALL THIS BY NOW AND YOU ARE VERY PARTICULAR IN YOUR SEARCH…….SO LET’S GET DOWN TO TALK ABOUT THIS PERTICULAR BEAUTY THAT I HAVE LISTED. FIRST THINGS FIRST….THIS IS A REBUILD TITLE VAN, SO IF YOU’RE AFRAIND OF THAT OR HAVE A FUNNY FEELING ABOUT IT, MOVE ON THEN. FOR THOSE WHO ARE STILL STICKING AROUND, HERE IS THE STORY. I BOUGHT THIS VAN FROM AN AUCTION WITH A LIGHT HIT TO THE FRONT, FROM FLORIDA. COUPLE REASONS WHY…. FIRST, BECAUSE I KNOW THESE TRUCKS, I’VE ONWED COUPLE MYSELF AND ACTUALLY OWN ONE AT THE MOMENT. I WORK ON THEM. I KNOW THEIR INS AND OUTS. SECONDLY, I WANTED IT FOR ITS MILES, STYLE AND THE FACT THAT IT’S FROM SOUTH STATES. SOUTH STATES IS THE REASON SO IT WOULDN’T BE RUSTED ( AS THEY TEND TO DO SO). 3RDLY, I KNEW IT WOULD BE A BEUTY AND WOULD BE WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY TO INVEST. LET’S TALK ABOUT THE FEATURE THIS VAN HAS: DUAL A/C and HEATER UNITS ( ONE FOR THE FRONT AND ONE FOR THE REAR) It has additional on the back of the van’s top. POWER WINDOWS / DOOR LOOKS (WITH A DISTANT REMOTE) UPGRADED STEREO PLAYER WITH AM / FM / CD / IPOD USB CAPABILITIES / MP3 / WMA / WAV ABS / SLIP CONTROL / SRS / CRUISE CONTROL / AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES THAT IT’S ABSOLUTELY COMPLETE AND READY FOR MANY MORE TRIPS AND MILES TO ROLL. I’VE DONE SOME ADDITIONAL TOUCHES TO IT SINCE IT WAS IN A BODY SHOP ANYWAYS FOR THE FRONT CLIP PAINT JOB. WHAT I MEAN BY THE FRONT CLIP IS, BOTH FENDERS AND A HOOD. THOSE PARTS WERE THE DAMAGED ONES AND I HAD THEM REPLACED. I HAD THE MIRRORS / ALL HANDLES AND BUMPERS TAKEN OFF AND PAINTED, SOME IN MATCHING COLORS TO THE REST OF THE VAN, AND BOTH BUMPERS I DID IN A DARKER TONE TO GIVE IT A BID OF A PERSONAL TOUCH. PICTURES SHOW EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN AND HOW IT LOOKS. THE ENTIRE VAN WAS NOT REPAINTED. I’VE REMOVED THOSE PANELS OFF AND HAD THEM PAINTED SEPARATELY OFF THE VAN. I HAD THE TWO HEADLIGHTS REPLACED WITH A EURO TYPE. THE ORIGINALS HAD SOME TABS BROKEN OFF, AND MOST IMPORTLY, THE HAD THAT OVER THE YEARS BUILD UP ON THEIR LENSES. SO SINCE THE ENTIRE VAN WAS NOT REPAINTED COMPLETELY, THERE ARE SOME BLEMISHES ON SIDE PANELS FROM THE YEARS OF ITS USAGE. NOTHING MAJOR TO GO NUTS ABOUT, BUT ENOUGH TO MENTION. THE INTERIOR IS PERFECT. LIKE MINT CONDITION. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE SHOT WHERE I’M SHOWING THE DRIVER SEAT CUSHION. IT’S BARELY BROKEN INTO. IT’S BOTTOM IS STILL VERY MUCH STIFF AND LOOKING NEW. STICHES AREN’T BROKEN AND LEATHER SIDES AREN’T WORN AT ALL. ALSO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THE FLOOR MATT AND BOTH PADELS (BREAK AND GAS) ALL SEATS ARE IN EXREMELY WELL CONDITION (FRONT AND ALL THE WAY BACK). THE REAR CARGO AREA IS ALSO NICE AND CLEAN. ROOF LINING HAS NO TEARS NOR STAINS. THIS VAN IS PERFECT. I HAVE MANY SHOOTS AND WILL TRY TO UPLOAD THEM TO ONE OF THE PICTURE SITES AND I’LL POST THE LINK IF ALLOWED BY EBAY. ENGINE COMPARTMENT ARE IS CLEAN OF ANY OIL LEAKS SO IS AROUND TRANSMISSION SEALS AND REAR AXLE. WHAT I’M SAYING HERE IS THAT I’M NOT EVEN SURE HOW IT’S POSSIBLE THAT THIS VAN IS IN SUCH CONDITON, BUT APPARENTLY IT IS. AT THIS POINT I’VE DONE THE FOLLOWING MAINTANCE AS WELL FOR THE NEXT OWNER TO WORRY FREE AND DRIVE CARE FREE FOR THE NEXT 8k (for eng oil) TO 25-30k ( fuel filter / air filer) TO ALL THE WAY TO 80-90K ( until next transmission service) REPLACED THE FOLLOWING: ENGINE OIL / FILTER / FUEL FILTER /AIR FILTER / CABIN FILTER / TRANSMISSION FLUSH (NOT JUST DRAIN AND FILL) BUT A FLUSH. NEW FILTER / TRANSMISSION OIL PAN GASKET / AND WIRING HARNEST SOCKET AS WELL. FRONT AND REAR BREAKS ARE CLOSE TO BEING NEW WHEN I GOT THIS VAN, SO I NEVER TOUCHED THEM. THE’VE MUST HAVE BEEN RECENTLY REPLACED AS WELL AS FRONT ROTORS AND WITH A GOOD QUALITY, I MUST ADD. LOOK AND FEEL GOOD WHILE DRIVING. NO squeaking, scratching or shaking what so ever. Drives very smooth, all the way to 75-80 miles per hour. Tires are Michelin all around and have 90-95% tread life. FOR THOSE WHO STILL CAN’T GET PASSED THE HORSES ON THE SIDE WINDOWS, DON’T WORRY, I’LL TAKE THEM OFF IF YOU’RE THE HAPPY NEW OWNER AND DECIDE YOU DON’T WANT THEM. THEY WERE THERE FROM THE PREVIOUSE OWNER AND I’VE HAD MIXED REACTIONS ABOUT THEM, SO I LEFT THEM ON FOR THE NEXT OWNER TO DECIDE. IT’S A STICKER AND IT CAN BE REMOVED.
