Vehicle Detail
This Dark Gray Metallic FJ62 is a 3-owner truck. It began it's life as a corporate vehicle for 7-11 Stores in Dallas, Texas. It was bought by a friend of ours in '91 or '92 and we bought it from him in December of '16. The engine was replaced in '95 or '96 at 115,000 miles. The odometer currently reads 238,800. The previous owner installed a really nice sound system that includes an inconspicuous 12" sub in the back, a powerful amp under the passenger seat, and four mid-range speakers in all of the stock locations. He also had an Iron Man lift kit installed. I think it's their 2 inch lift as you could easily fit some 33's in the wheel wells. Most of the maintenance work over the years was completed by Edwin and Co. at Land Cruiser Specialists here in Austin. The previous owner started driving the truck less and less once they started having kids, so he sold it to us.We got the truck and immediately addressed a few things that Edwin at LCS pointed out and I've been slowly replacing other small stuff along the way to ensure its reliability. This thing runs like a top. It has been my wife's daily driver for the last year. If you live in Austin, you may have seen her belting out '80's rock ballads up and down MoPac or Shoal Creek Blvd. She's loved every minute in this thing. However, we've decided to sell it in order to get her into a newer 4x4. Her business recently opened up a second location across town, so her commute is sometimes double or triple what it used to be.Here's a list of all the NEW items purchased/installed in the last 12 months:1.Front Inner Axle Seals2.Tie Rod Ends3.4wd Solenoid4.Rear Drive Shaft Bushing,5.Trans Shifter Bushing6.Fuel Filter7.Thermostat w/O-ring & housing gaskets8.Water Temp Sending Unit9.Water Temp Sensor10.ALL Coolant Hoses11.ALL Belts12.Radiator (CSF)13.Fan Clutch (AISIN)14.Oil Cooler, Gaskets, and Hoses15.Spark Plugs (Denso 3031)16.Spark Plug Wires17.Alternator18.Ignition Rotor and Cap19.BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 including spare (31x10.5x15)20.Alignment21.AC Compressor, Drier & R134A Conversion Kit (BLOWS SUPER COLD!)22.Front Marker Lights23.Dome Light24.Rear Hatch Gas Shocks25.Window Tint (Ultra Performance w/Transferrable Lifetime Warranty)26.Horn Contact Pin (Needs to be installed)27.OEM Front Tow Hook (Needs to be installed)OTHER GOOD STUFF1.The chrome on this truck is in great shape!2.This is a RUST-FREE Texas truck.3.The seats have been recovered with brand new vinyl and the front seat bottoms have been replaced with new foam.4.4WD functions as expected.
