Vehicle Detail
1967 Austin Healey Sprite Interior is completely stripped, but the full dash is still there, with instruments, though they will need to be hooked up/checked out. Currently running on an MG block, but I do have what I was told is the original block, it will go with the car. Looks like a rod got thrown due to a chip in one of the cylinder skirts on that block. I've never subscribed to a service to double check the block to VIN number. Frame for convertible top will also go with the car, it's up in storage. The bottom driver side door mount has rusted through, pictured. The previous owner had begun a restore, but had not finished when I bought the vehicle. I've finally come to the conclusion I will not finish it either, just not enough time or money with two young kids around and I could use the space to start some home improvement projects I have in mind. Brakes were completely re-done 7 years ago, to factory specs, so yeah if you know this car you know what that means. I've put maybe 100 miles on it since then. Tires are shot, but just from age. This has been garaged for the last 7 years, with only an occasional drive around the block. Fuel pump is also going, you should be able to see that I've rigged a newer off the shelf generic pump in the engine pic. No muffler. Mileage is unknown, even though it forces me to put a value in. I would prefer cash or PayPal, but a check will be acceptable, though you will have to wait 14-21 for it to clear. Please let me know if you have any questions. If you are in the area, I will let you inspect. EDIT: Some folks were wondering what the undercarriage looks like, so I went down to a garage to put it on a lift, enjoy the photos. Nothing bad that I or the mechanix could see, though he again noted how bad the rear tire was. Also the front wheels need to have the bearings checked.
