Very nice looking classic Red Corvette. Overall condition of interior is good. Seats are recently done and have no rips or tears. There is some sun fading on carpet over top of transmission tunnel...otherwise, carpet is excellent.Dash pad is intact and very good, except it has come unglued close to passenger windshield post. Steering wheel was replaced by a smaller one, and horn button has been replaced with a push-button on dash. All weatherstripping and window seals have been replaced and are very good. Convertible top is in near-new condition. Original Wonderbar radio and clock are present, but do not work. Paint is excellent everywhere except for hood... hood has many pinholes in finish. Tires are about 8/10 and are steel radials. No spare. Engine runs strong - no leaks, no smoke, no overheating Block is correct number and engine pad stamp matches VIN. T-10 transmission has been removed and overhauled. Transmission does not have a serial number, but casting dates match the assembly period of the vehicle. Chrome is acceptable for a driver, but is not show quality. Minor dents and pitting. I'd say it's 6 of 10. The starting price is also the reserve. If the high bid is only $44,000, that will buy it. I will not end the auction early. Please have your financing arranged before bidding. You will need to make a $500 deposit within one day, and balance is due within seven days. The vehicle will not leave my garage until the car is paid for in an acceptable manner. You are welcome to inspect the car before bidding.
