Documented 1 California owner since Dec 1974. 1 and only prior owner (less then a year) purchased it new off the showroom floor at Lew Williams Chevrolet in Sacramento CA. Truck Never left Sacramento CA. Garaged and pampered since day one. Never used to tow, or haul. Numbers matching original big block 454. Original miles of 103,701. Never modified or rebuilt. Runs fantastic. Extremely original under the hood including the Ca smog pump and all emissions equipment. All original decals in place including SPID (service parts ID) tag. Custom staggered/offset 9x15 & 10x15 iconic Slotted Mags were installed the same year vehicle sold new (see pic below of wheel date stamp 11/16/73). 275/60R15 BF Goodrich tires all the way around with even tread at about 75% remaining tread. Loved by it's owner, this truck was his pride and joy, parking it in front of his Union76 service station, it got lots of local attention and survived multiple attempts to be purchase over the last 4 decades. Extremely straight exterior. No door sag, or hood bow. Outstanding bed interior walls, floor and tailgate. Excellent trim, deco, glass and chrome. Truck was repainted once, in it's original black to a very, very high standard (likely a decade old now, but holding up very well, misc. age related scratches here and there, but excellent shine with no issues anywhere). Runs, drives, stops, steers and starts like a much newer truck. Very sound, solid, rattle free example. Travels down the freeway confidently with no freeway wander. Fast truck with lots of power as you would expect. Turnkey, daily driver example if you wanted to use it like that. Excellent, very original interior. Only the seat and headliner have been updated. Original carpets with very little wear other than age related fading speak to how gently this truck was used. Nice original mats included, but not pictured. Flawless crack free original dash having been covered with a dash mat forever. excellent deco, door panels, wood grain trim, original steering wheel, gauges, kick panels, etc. Everything works, including the dealer installed dual tanks and switch. California, dry, rust free example. This is an extremely rare find, especially at this level of preservation. Very likely the best unrestored example in the country.
