You were looking at my loved and cherished 1995 Cadillac Brougham. I bought this car in May of 2011 with the intentions of keeping it forever, but…life happens, and I need to part with this, make some room in the garage, and bring my car collection down to a “reasonable” 5. Of all the cars that I’ve owned…granted, no 6 digit Porsches or Hemi Cuda’s have been in my stable…This is the one that gets “Super Model” attention. I can’t recall a single time I’ve driven it that it doesn’t @ least get a thumbs up from a passer by. I wish I’ve counted, but several times, random people have asked me if I minded that they took a picture of it. Seriously…Grocery store parking lots…my grandfathers wake…etc. And the attention comes from all age brackets. It’s just like driving a big Hot Wheel ! I have well over $20k invested in it @ this point...the reserve isn't even half of that & would rather see it go to somebody that is going to get some use out of it rather than watch it sit in the garage & collect dust. I don’t have the heart to park in in the driveway & watch it rust away & it takes time to keep it in the shape that I’ve kept it in thus far. Maintenance Records: 05/13/11: Bought. ($350) 09/27/17: Peal Tints Off. Vehicle Condition...Rust on the doors or anywhere else ? There is none. Front disc/rear drums brakes w/abs are factory & bring this car to a stop quickly & evenly. The parking/emergency brake is still tight. The transmission up shifts/downshifts normally w/silky 4L60e smoothness. The charging system works flawlessly & even after sitting for weeks @ a time...I never have to jump start it. Vinyl top condition? Faded from 22 years of sun, but still cleans up nice. Power antenna functions ? Perfectly...Was replaced before I bought the car. Weatherstripping ? Soft and supple. Under hood rubber and hoses soft and perfect. Most were replaced along with the engine & radiator. Cruise control ? Functions like new. R134 air-conditioning ? Still ice cold and actually makes you want to lower the fan after a few minutes. Heat ? Works like new. The short list: Included is... A new LT1 engine...1500 miles since new. Vogland springs & Bilstein shocks. 18" chrome wheels wrapped in Vogue tires. 160 Thermostat. Dynomax Cat Back Exhaust. PCM Tune. K&N cold air intake. Viper smart start alarm/remote starter. You could lock or start your car from your phone. Kenwood Navigation/CD/MP3 Plater...connector in glovebox. Clarion amplifier. Clarion 10" Subwoofer. The dredded "to do" list : Paint the top of the front bumper. replace the top of the LF bumper guard...or just remove both of them. Replace the body mounts all around. The car sounds wonderful...New motor...exhaust...etc. But since the suspension drop, the body mounts are noisy.Replace or cover the dash pad top. Keep it clean & drive it more than I did Side note…This car has been polish compounded, clayed, polished, glazed, sealed & waxed more than makes sense. The other pictures are random & most indicate how "over crowded" my driveway is.
