My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an exceptionally clean 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with just 140k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this Ram to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in white and gray two tone over matching gray interior. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older truck, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Dodge. What is most noteworthy about the exterior of this Ram is the lack of body rust. Please, take your time to check out each of the photos of this truck closely to see how unusually clean it is. The only rust I could find was a bubble on the one cab corner. In addition to being one of the most rust-free old trucks I've ever seen, the body is in remarkable condition. There are no dents, scrapes or other damages worth mentioning. The body is as straight as an arrow. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice, matching set of rubber with good tread all around. The bed has a protective liner in it, too. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Ram. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully to see just how clean this truck came in. I would rate the interior of this Ram to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash shows some usual cracking, as you'll find in most Dodge's of this age. A newer looking dash mat is included. The seats are clean and comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Behind the front seats is a generous amount of room that can easily accommodate adult passengers or have plenty of room for your gear. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Dodge Ram. Mechanically, this Ram appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.2L Magnum V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. She hits the road nice and straight. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine makes good power and feels smooth. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a truck and you're not keen on dropping $50,000 for a new one, this exceptionally clean Ram 1500 deserves a careful look. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction.
